Embodied DBT Program
Skills for regulation, connection, and lasting change.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is an evidence-based approach designed to help individuals navigate intense emotions, improve relationships, and build a more stable, fulfilling life.

Within our Embodied Wellness Collection, DBT is offered through a mind-body lens—integrating traditional skill-building with nervous system awareness, somatic practices, and real-life application.

This means you won’t just learn skills—you’ll experience them, practice them, and begin to live with them.

What Makes Our Approach Different
-
Integrates nervous system regulation with DBT skills
-
Emphasizes real-time practice and embodiment, not just discussion
-
Creates a supportive, connected group environment

Our DBT Offerings
Embodied DBT Skills Group
Our foundational group focuses on learning and practicing the core DBT skills: mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness.
In a structured and supportive environment, participants build practical tools, engage in guided practice, and receive accountability to support meaningful change in daily life.
Individual DBT Therapy
One-on-one sessions provide personalized support to deepen your understanding and application of DBT skills.
Individual therapy allows for tailored guidance, problem-solving, and integration of skills based on your unique experiences, goals, and challenges.
Embodied Movement for DBT
This experiential group offers a movement-based approach to DBT, supporting nervous system regulation and emotional processing through the body.
Participants engage in guided movement, grounding practices, and somatic techniques to help translate DBT skills into lived, embodied experiences.
How It Works
Patients may participate in one or more components depending on their needs, with many benefiting from a combination of skills group + individual therapy + movement-based support for a more comprehensive and integrative experience.
Program Age Groups & Commitment
Who Can Participate
Our DBT program is offered in two age-based groups to ensure the content and skills practice are developmentally appropriate:
-
Teen Group – Designed for adolescents who are learning to navigate emotional regulation, interpersonal challenges, and stress management in school and home environments.
-
Adult Group – Tailored for adults seeking to strengthen coping skills, manage emotions, and improve relationships and life functioning.
Commitment & Program Duration
A true DBT program is most effective when participants commit fully to the process:
-
Duration: Typically, 9–12 months to complete the full program cycle
-
Weekly Attendance: Participation in weekly sessions is mandatory to maximize skill acquisition and integration
-
Consistency Matters: The program builds on skills week-to-week; missing sessions can impact progress and effectiveness
Embodied DBT is a journey that combines learning, practice, and experience—commitment is key to meaningful growth.
