Emily (Emilea) Evans, LCSW

Throughout the past 10 years working as a therapist, I have come to recognize that the relationship between the client and therapist is just as important as the therapeutic modality. Using a strengths based and person centered approach, I work to meet every client where they are at when they come into my office. My goal is to create a safe space for you to express how you are feeling without fear of judgment.

After receiving my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work from Kutztown University, I’ve worked in a variety of clinical settings including in both inpatient and outpatient environments. I have experience working with both adults and adolescents dealing with addiction, depression, anxiety, and trauma as well as other mental health concerns. I utilize a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing. This blend helps me tailor sessions to what works best for you—whether that’s building coping skills, improving relationships, or finding a greater sense of balance and well-being.

As Albus Dumbledore once said, “Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.”
